By using your own voice to control a synthesizer, you can instantly convert the sounds in your head to digital signals. for music production.

Simply sing to control any midi instrument, and hear your music instantly as if you were playing by hand. You can use imitone to create music with no other skills or tools, or you can combine imitone with drum tracks and other instruments for full-stack music production.  

using imitone for game engines:

1. Install imitone and a Digital Audio Workstation (aka DAW). We recommend the free trial of FL Studio for Windows users, and GarageBand for Mac users. Both will allow you to record output from imitone and save clean audio files for your game for free.
2. Open imitone, then open the DAW
3. Connect imitone as a midi input device to your DAW
4. Attach imitone's midi input control to an instrument track
5. Press record and make some noise (preferably in a quiet place with headphones on)
6. Export your audio.

Alternatively, select the imitone VST and VST3 plugins (currently Windows-only) when installing for deeper integration with your DAW.  Be advised that some expertise in MIDI routing is necessary to get the full value from our plugins!
